I know the metaphysical world is merely a crutch upon which to hang our feeble notions of space, time and existence, but what does it all mean?



This month, Eleanor visited with family and friends. Here's Mary Lou and Jeri at a summer barbeque on Long Island.



While visiting Chris and Jess, Jess killed with the old "bzzz bzzz bzzz" punchline. We think it will play in Peoria.



With Ozlem, our babysitter and one of Eleanor's favorite people in the whole world!



Over Labor Day, we visited the Micklewrights in the Berkshires. Here's David, Charlotte & Ben.

We went to the Blandford Fair, home to horses, cows and rain. Dave enjoyed the rousing tunes of the Shriners Band.

Laura loses both the battle and the war with this umbrella.



When the sun came out, we enjoyed the finer things of life in the Berkshires - hammocks and swings.
